Clarity – What’s the deal?

Clarity is primarily known from Adobe Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Camera Raw. It adds and removes contrast and sharpness in a very distinct way. The resulting look can be described as grungy, silver-ish, or bleached.
If you like clarity in photo editing, you will love this plugin.

Main Features

Clarity Slider: Drag the slider up to increase clarity, drag the slider down to decrease clarity.

Clarity in photo editing is a rather aggressive operation. Even though we’re slowly getting there with higher bit depths, contemporary video files are still nowhere near photographs when it comes to flexibility in post. You probably know the situation: You make an adjustment to a photo and everything is fine. You try the same adjustment on a video and everything breaks. This plugin does it differently. Of course, depending on your footage, there is still a breaking point, but you will find it much harder to mess things up with my plugins compared to other colour tools for Final Cut Pro.
